Who Are The True Owners Of DENARAU ISLAND?.

Can someone out there tell me as to who are the true owners of DENARAU Island. As we all know that to date the people of Narewa Village ( Yavusa E Tolu) claimed to be the rightful owner of Denarau. Is that so?

I have to be blunt here and say this. The people of Narewa ( Yavusa e tolu) have no land whatsoever. The Nadi Delta including Denarau Island belongs to a small quite village located not far from Denarau called Sikituru. In Sikituru is a tribe ( Yavusa) called Saunivalu, Mataqali Vita, tokatoka Betobalavu. The sons and daughters of this Tribe are the true owners of Denarau. The silent anger of the children of saunivalu will consume the lives of those that have claimed that Land Title of Denarau.

The wrath of the anger of the Luveniwai has been effecting the lives of those that claimed Denarau.

Look at the Chiefly position of the Tui Nadi. The simple task of ordaning someone to be the Tui Nadi is in dissarray at the moment. That matter will never settle until the land is returned to the people of Saunivalu.
